Stage 1: At first, you need to switch off incoming water supply to your filters. Your filter is being prepared for servicing.
Stage 2: Open the filter faucet. Water that is present in the tank drains from the filter, as the faucet is opened. The filter needs to be empty for servicing.
Stage 3: Once the water is drained out, the filter needs few minutes time to rest. It also depressurizes before the filter housings are removed. After few minutes, you can remove the housings of the filter.
Stage 4: In order to give more leverage, you can also leave the RO module that is attached to the cabinet walls. You may fail to access the module while it is mounted; in this case, you can remove it before changing filters.
Stage 5: The filter housings, its parts and components must be cleaned with mild soap solution. After then, the equipments can be washed with water. The O-rings of the filter are to be checked with water-soluble lubricant.
Stage 6: Now, you can insert the new sediment filter into the first filter housing. For you to locate it, the filter housing is the closest one to the side with tubing connections. You can re-install housings after this.
Stage 7: Once you have installed the sediment filter, you can install the carbon block filter with white end caps. This filter needs to be installed in the middle housing.
Stage 8: You can now turn water on to the unit adapt-a-valve.
Stage 9: You can now open the RO faucet and leave it open until water tickles in.
Stage 10: This is the final stage where you need to close the RO faucet and allow the storage tank to fill with water. It takes three hours of time to fill the filter tank.
